Face Shields
Welding, cutting, grinding, and chemical usage face shields as standardized by ANSI Z87.1. OSHA standard Eye and face protection. – 1910.133 currently endorses ANSI Z87.1-1989, even though ANSI has updated their standards to ANSI Z87.1-2003. It is expected that OSHA will change to the newer standards soon. Currently products with both ANSI standards are acceptable for use.
