Stolen welders and equipment

After hearing about yet another stolen welder, I thought this might be helpful. If you’ve had a welder, welding machinery, or related equipment stolen and you’d like some help trying to locate and recover it, please leave a comment below. Try to include the make, model, serial number, location, and whatever details you think would be helpful. If there is a good response to this, i’ll try to set up something more functional than a post comment, but for now let’s try this. In any event, good luck.

    Hi David,

If i understand correctly, you need an idler assembly? If so, you may have a hard time as that’s a discontinued part. You can probably find a used one at a local welder repair shop, or you can keep checking these two links as i see them offered every once in awhile.

That said, there is a company that makes an electronic replacement for that idler that i’ve heard works very well, although it’s a bit expensive. I think it’s weldmart.com.

    Hope that helps
