Lincoln Vantage
The first machine in the Vantage lineup is the Lincoln Vantage 400 welder / generator (product number K2410 – 1). This unit comes equipped with a 4 cylinder Perkins diesel engine, which provides extremely smooth power at an unusually quiet operating sound level.
It’s a multiprocess machine that’s capable of mig, tig, and stick welding, and it also can be used to arc gouge with up to 5/16″ carbon electrodes. Welding output is 400 amps @ 100% duty cycle.
Stock features include all stainless steel panels, Perkins – 404D-22, diesel engine, special downhill pipe welding circuit, and a very unique reduced OCV safety device that lowers the voltage in stick mode when the machine isn’t being used.

The Lincoln Vantage 500, (product numbers K2405-2 and K2686-1), is the workhorse of the Lincoln Vantage line. This welder generator comes with a choice of engines; a 48 horsepower Deutz diesel, or a 49 horsepower Perkins diesel engine. This machine is capable of putting out 500 amps @ 100% duty cycle and 575 amps @ 50%. That’s enough power for even the most heavy duty welding or arc gouging that you’re likely to do. The maximum electrode size for arc gouging is 3/8″.Like the other Vantage models, this one too has stainless steel panels/roof, low OCV safety, special downhill pipe welding circuit. An extra feature set for the 500 model is that it comes with digital meters.

This welder comes with a Kubota turbo diesel engine that’s rated at 58 horsepower. What’s unique about this welder is that along with all the features of the standard Vantage 500, the Air Vantage 500 comes standard with a built in air compressor; a 60 c.f.m. @ 100 p.s.i screw compressor. Now you’ll be able to run an arc gouge or plasma cutter from one single unit.
Special features include stainless panels, downhill pipe welding circuit, VRD – reduced OCV safety circuit for when the welder is not in use, and the ability to use up to a 3/8″ carbon arc gouging electrodes.
