Hobart Handler
For a great entry level mig welder, or if you’re a light duty user, you’ll be hard pressed to find a better model than the Hobart Handler line of mig welders. The current lineup consists of the Handler 125, 125 ez, 140, 187, and 210 models.
These welders are typically used in home shops, on the farm or ranch, in maintenance shops, or in automotive repair. Their low amperage range output is ideally suited for sheet metal welding that’s common in autobody shops. It also works great for ductwork and sheetmetal shops. These welders work great on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, just keep in mind that the rated weld capacity will be less when welding stainless or aluminum. The stated value is for mild steel.
