Hi Impeccable, welcome to the forum...

I really didn't want to force people to join, and i'll probably remove it eventually, but it seems like it was taking forever to get more people here.  I'd get new registrations, but most of them wouldn't post.  I'm okay with that, but a forum sucks without anyone posting.

 I know for a fact that there are quite a few other people that lurk and just check out the job section. As an occasional lurker myself, i was somewhat conflicted about the decision.  But I figure it's free and it seems to be helping so far.

In any event, thanks for the vote of confidence, and welcome aboard!  If you've got any suggestions for the board, feel free to let me know.

As a network engineer and previous CMO of a clothing company responsible for online interactions, webstores, forums etc. Id say you are on the right track. Welding doesnt exactly have the largest calling for people, especially online. But with the way you are handling things and with all the information you make available here you are doing a damn good job.

At first glance, interest in welding doesn't seem all that large, but when you take into account all the people that utilize welding for whatever reasons, the pool of potential users is much larger -- People into metal art, 4x4 people, construction people, manufacturing people, etc. 

I just hope they all show up and start sharing their knowledge, cause mine is pretty limited.  heh

just to let you know, nice site! my brothers call me the fat welder.
been fighting' pipe 20+ years, it has been good to me... hot in the summer,
cold in winter.  our world is held together by welding. yea most of my cloths
have holes in them but they are paid for. most of the time i have a cold sandwich for lunch,  a lot of the time my back hurts like hell, my feet kill me.
it is my livelyhood, without it I'm not sure of who i would be 'cause I'm a WELDOR and proud of it. not the best, not the worst, but i hold my own!
 may the LORD bless you...   repentance is never too soon.
